Relationship timeline: 2024 to 2026

Swims and Wright were first publicly linked in February 2024, when they were seen together at a Grammys party. The pair announced in January 2025 that they were expecting a child, and their son was born on 23 June 2025. They also performed duets together. At Stagecoach in April 2026, Swims said he was going through a little heartbreak. The split was confirmed in July 2026, when he released ‘Break Up in Reverse’ on 10 July 2026 through Warner Records, a song about the end of the relationship.

His career breakthrough

Swims first attracted fans by posting song covers on YouTube during 2019 and 2020. His global breakthrough came with ‘Lose Control’ in 2023, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 the following year. The song preceded his debut studio album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1).

Life after the split

After the split, Swims spoke in July 2026 about fatherhood teaching him to stay present. He said that on days when he was on the road and could not be with his son, he was on FaceTime with him every day he could, and was trying to stay present despite the distance while touring.

Many web pages call Raiche Wright his “wife”, but no reliable source found reports a marriage, and later reporting describes her as his former partner and the mother of his child.
